Have you ever wondered what your pet is thinking?  Have you ever wondered what her favourite food is?  Have you ever asked yourself that deeper question – why has my cat ended up with me?  These questions are just the start of a different relationship with your pet, and communicating with animals can help us to understand their connection with us and why they do the things they do.  Opening up to a better understanding of our animals and our relationships with them can also lead to a better understanding of health and disease, and in many instances can lead to healing on a physical, emotional and mental level .

In my practice as a veterinarian, there are many instances when I have made a diagnosis of a disease, diabetes for instance, and the animal’s person says something like “my husband has diabetes, too!”.  I started to watch for these correlations, and found that in a majority of cases, the animals were sharing the same disease process as someone in their immediate family.  As I started working more with integrative therapies and recognizing emotions as part of the disease process, I also realized that emotions like anxiety or over-exuberance were also shared by someone in the immediate family.  I started to realize that animals were a “mirror” for us,  that we could look inside ourselves with the information from physical disease in our pets to not only help our pets move towards better health and a better balance in life, but to help ourselves as well.

When you book a consultation with me, the  “Animals as Mirrors…… and more” process will uncover information about active disease, organ system imbalance, emotional blocks, mental imbalances, and more.   We will explore medical information that I can interpret based on 30 years as a veterinarian – I have been practicing integrative medicine for the last 15 of those years.  We will communicate intuitively with your animal companion if needed, to uncover and address  emotional blockages that are keeping them from expressing themselves and living the happiest and most carefree life that they can live with you.

I know that you love your dog, or your cat, or your horse or your bird, and that they unconditionally love you.  ““Animals as Mirrors…. and more” can help you both grow in that love, and nourish your connection and let you learn to love unconditionally, with a more healthy and more happy pet or companion.
